One of my favourite books that I have been reading during my journey to setting up my Madeit store is Lessons of a Lipstick Queen by Poppy King. Her story of success mixed with good, sound business tips and advice makes it a truly inspirational read.

Wish List - Bird Brooch

This week on my wish list is the double bird brooch from one of my fellow madeit shops, That Vintage. The double bird brooch is so cute! It will go perfectly on my winter coat lapel along with a pair of earrings from my current collection on my madeit shop.

Two new designs

This weekend I have created two new designs to share with you.

Agate slice earrings - This is the stone everyone should have for protection. Agates attract strength and provides protection from bad dreams. It also protects from stress and energy drains. Agate have been used in jewellery since Biblical Babylonian times.


Lotus and turquoise earrings - Turquoise protect the wearer from negative energy and bring good fortune. Turquoise is the symbol of friendship and also brings peace to the home. While in buddhism, the lotus flower represents faithfulness.

Fav purchase - Agent Indigo

I have to share with you this weeks favourite purchase from one of my fellow madeit artists, Angela at Agent Indigo, her handmade necklaces are just so cute. I have been wearing my sweet little birds necklace constantly since it arrived!
